The Southwest Data Science Conference 2025

Robert Selje, a PhD Student in the AVIA Lab, has presented his work entitled "Deep Reinforcement Learning to Maximize Energy Harvesting of a High-Altitude Airborne Wind Energy System" at the Southwest Data Science Conference 2025, held on March 21, 2025, at the Mayborn Museum Complex. This work is a collaborative research work and is supported by Toyota North America in an effort to develop a learning-based control to maximize wind energy harvesting using a kite.
