Dr. Sun is an associate professor of Mechanical Engineering at Baylor University and the director of the Advanced Vehicle Intelligence and Autonomy (AVIA) lab. He received a Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, USA, in 2012. He is a senior member of AIAA and a senior member of IEEE.
