Bio and Research Area
Robert Selje earned his undergraduate degree in Computer Science and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from New Mexico State University. Robert has been conducting research in autonomous systems at the Aerospace Vehicle Intelligence and Autonomy Lab, focusing on UAV control and computer vision through the application of machine learning techniques. He also served for 16 years with the Department of Defense, where he worked extensively with robotic systems and other advanced technologies. His research interests include computer vision, machine learning, and sensor fusion.
